Position Summary: Regional Sand Coordinator directs and manages objectives through subordinate District Sand Coordinators. Proactively ensures on-site inventory levels are maintained through subordinate Sand Coordinators and ensures the timely delivery of materials with Logistics Coordinator and on-site engineers. Regional Sand Coordinators report directly to the Director of Operations. Position requires continuous understanding of upcoming on-site operations and completion times with a focus on safety and personnel management. Position involves inventory management, accurate communications, delivery guidance and quality service assurance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Disseminates company goals and objectives and ensures they are adhered to.
? Overall responsible for all district activities.
? Ensures company policies and procedures are adhered to and enforced by subordinates
? Supervises and monitors sand coordinator activities.
? Ensures accurate ordering and timely delivery of material through continuous updates from subordinates
? Ensures team members, supervises, monitors and logs all product deliveries
? Ensures subordinates monitor and minimizes costs through expediting unloading process
? Ensures subordinates maintain constant communications with material recipients/on-site engineers, logistics coordinator, and delivering carriers on-site
? Ensures subordinates evaluate carrier?s on-site performance and logs required information. Suggests process improvements
? Ensures subordinates evaluates unloading site to ensure ease of proper delivery and safety
? Ensures subordinates represents company with highest level of professionalism
? Ensures subordinates perform other related duties as required.
Educational and Other Requirements:
? Experience with personnel and inventory management
? Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Background in gas/oil field fracturing operations or pneumatic trucking preferred.
? Previous work related skills, knowledge or experience. Quick learner and detail oriented.
? Strong analytical and communication skills. Able to provide guidance and direction in hazardous work area.
? Knowledge of safety policies, procedures and regulations associated with bulk pneumatic trucks.
? Must work independently and as a member of team. Self starter.
? Essential identification skills, identifying and recognizing changes in circumstances, proactively develops alternative options.
Mental and Physical Requirements:
? Able to read, speak and write English effectively.
? Able to work non-standard hours and travel for extended periods
? Standing and walking short distances for extended periods of time in outdoor setting.
? Bending/Stooping, twisting, lifting.
? Gripping, reaching, writing, fingering (data entry), handling (paper, files, etc).
? Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
? Normal hearing and vision (corrected by prescription if necessary)
? Communication - phone communication, communication with on-site personnel and transportation providers.
? Climbing - able to go up and down stairs and/or equipment ladders.
? Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor and may include diverse shifts. Must be willing to accept extended work hours.
? Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems on the ground.
? Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work goals.
? Dependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilities.
? Cooperation, maintaining friendly and responsible relationships with co workers.
? Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities.
