Job Description
The position is responsible for the consumer loan and collection areas of the credit union. This involves responsibility for directing and controlling all consumer lending and collection activities with the credit union in accordance with the direction of the Chief Lending Officer and credit union CEO/Administrator and consistent with regulatory requirements. The Loan Manager provides direction and guidance to the work unit personnel; provides analysis of the work process to meet operational and strategic needs of the Credit Union. Oversees the selection, orientation, and performance management of the work unit personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field. Previous credit union/financial institution experience of five years or longer, with at least four years consumer lending experience including real estate, collection, and personnel management. Ten years credit union/financial institution experience may be substituted for the degree.
Other Qualifications:
Previous personnel management experience preferred. A good understanding of local, state, and federal laws that impact credit union operations. Demonstrated leadership qualities including strong human relations, organizational and communication skills and displays an urgency to achieve results. Requires strong planning and time management skills. Experience working with a wide range of people and a strong background in service excellence and credit union philosophy. Strong computer skills required.

Hours/Pay Period: 80
Schedule Details: M:F 8:00 : 5:00 pm
Weekend Schedule: Average 1 Saturday per month
Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is 24.43 per hour.
