Job Description This position is located in Lincoln, nebraska.
. Oversees the development and maintenance of the inventory budget and master production schedule to minimize inventory, maximize productivity, customer service and efficient utilization of company resources.
. responsible for P&IC system projects. Evaluates and implements when appropriate, all SAP systems enhancements to maximize utilization of automated planning and scheduling.
. Analyzes SAP output to assure accuracy and appropriateness of department plans and actions, oversees the scheduling of plant operations to assure maximum performance.
. Analyzes sales forecasts and recommends modifications or changes as necessary. Prepares information, analyzes and participates in forecast review meetings.
. Prepares inventory/production planning information/analyses for Sales and Operations Planning meetings.
. Provides necessary systems for detailed capacity analysis. Analyzes capacity output and recommends appropriate short- and long-term plans.
. Responsible for developing and maintaining Item Master, Bill of Material, Work Center Master, and Routing files to assure total coordination of resources (materials, equipment and personnel).
. Maintains effective procedures to identify and dispose of obsolete inventoried items, develop and implement effective production and inventory control policies and procedures. Maintains departmental compliance to SOPs and GMPs - including annual inventory budget.
. Represent Supply Chain on various committees/task forces.
. Prepare departmental budgets, including annual inventory budget. Establish departmental objectives, develops annual production plan for use by functional departments in budgeting.
. Ensure timely resolution of issues impeding the flow or production. Elevate systemic issues requiring resources beyond the scope of the personnel participating in Tier 2 level reviews.
. Support cross-site results in Tier 3 level product family performance reviews throughout weekly production.
. Lead Tier 3 meeting process.
. Lead Kaizen/Problem-Solving initiatives and the deployment of Lean throughout area of responsibility to ensure systemic improvement of procedures, standard work, equipment, and processes.
. Lead the hiring, training, planning, assigning, development, and performance management of direct reports and operations within assigned area of responsibility.
. Develops, monitors, and effectively utilizes Management Standard work, dashboards, control charts, and operational indicators to take action to correct situations which are not in line with established controls or targets.
. Meet or exceed the agreed-to business plan financial targets. Drive identification and successful implementation of cost improvement projects.
. Personally use Lean standard work effectively and create a culture that ensures all levels are levels are using standard work in the execution of their duties.

Minimum requirements . Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field required.
. CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management) required.
. 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain/Production Planning/Operations preferred.
. Prior experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred.
